Make a Difference in the Life of a Student
The inaugural Orange & Blue Scholarship Gala supports the mission of Lynnhaven School: to provide a social learning experience built on the principles of progressive education where each and every student is expected to pursue successes, to celebrate victories, and to learn from defeats. Proceeds will go directly toward scholarships for students. We never want the cost of attending to be a barrier for students who thrive in a progressive education environment.
As Richmond’s only progressive education high school, our vision is to engage students to take ownership of their learning, ask questions, challenge assumptions and develop new solutions. Our ambition is to continue making a Lynnhaven education within reach for families with a demonstrated need. Tuition assistance lowers the financial barrier for their child to thrive in an environment that embraces their differences and prepares them for life beyond the classroom.
By supporting our Orange and Blue Gala, you are helping us open doors for these families to allow their children to be successful in the future. This
year's theme is Kentucky Derby to celebrate the 149th derby weekend. Join us for an evening of
southern food, derby hats, and other derby traditions as we come together to share progressive
education!
